Metamorphosis Design

My name is Meaghan and I own Metamorphosis Design! I started as a Purdue Boilermaker majoring in Interior Design but switched to Art Education. Fast forward to 2014 when a Facebook group of moms wanted to sell items on Facebook (all before FB Marketplace). The group was small with about 300 moms in the local Carmel/Westfield area. I started selling my kids’ clothing and toys and made a lot of great "fun" money, then I grew to sell treasures I found. Soon after, at the beginning of the chalk paint era, I began furniture painting. I soon began making more than $5 for a child's t-shirt! After about a year of doing furniture, I had someone ask if I could paint their laundry room and cabinets. I was a little intimidated at first but my son said if I could do furniture what's the difference? Jump ahead 8 years and the company of one grew to 10 moms that refinish furniture and cabinets. It's crazy how much interior design I do now for clients and get to use a lot of what I am passionate about at Logan Village Mall. I am truly blessed to have a business that is flexible and I probably wouldn't have started all my little ways of making money from home if it were not for my son with special needs. Logan Village Mall is where I meditate and get to stage my furniture and home decor. I truly love it.
