Junk’d Up

Owner, BJ Massa, has been curb surfing, thrifting, and poking through other people’s junk for as long as she can remember. Growing up on Long Island, BJ spent many a Saturday morning hitting up garage sales with her mom armed with a map and the Pennysaver. Her love of secondhand proved useful as a young twenty-something in NYC and then in her thirties with a growing family and a shrinking budget.

Junk’d Up began in 2012 as a creative outlet and a means for BJ to help provide income for her family while raising two young children all while doing what she was good at… finding good junk and painting furniture.

Today, Junk’d Up is a retailer for Debi’s Design Diary DIY Paint and Iron Orchid Designs decor stamps, transfers, and moulds. Junk’d Up also offers hand-painted statement furniture pieces, handmade items, original artwork, and curated vintage home decor.
